2014 General Rules and Regulations
1. All drivers must sign a consent form before they pull. Members sign one and have on file.
2. All drivers must be weighed in at least 15 minutes before the start of their class.
3. All drivers must be weighed in 30 minutes prior to the drivers meeting.
4. All drivers must be registered before the pull begins.Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parents or guardians signature before they will be allowed to pull. Any one under the age of 16 must wear a helmet while they are pulling.Must wear the proper clothes for pulling
5. No loose fitting clothes that are likely to get caught in anything, no flip flops, no open heal shoes either. Must have either tennis shoes or boots when pulling and this will be enforced and you will not be allowed to pull if you don’t have them.
6. Only pump gas, diesel, pure alcohol or racing fuel up to C-12 may be used in the gas tanks. NO E-85 will be allowed. Anyone using the pure alcohol will be required to wear a safety suit and have a fire extinguisher before they can pull. Pure alcohol may be used but not in the stock classes.
7. ALL members will be required to help out on the track when needed. Either flagging, hooking up, unhooking, staging, scales, announcing. And there will not be the same people always helping out.
8. If there is any dispute it will be brought up in front of all the members in the class and discussed and voted on by those members present that day. If it is a general rule problem then every member present will have a say and a vote at that time.
9. Must obey all official at all times. What they say is final.
10. There will be NO refund if you are asked to leave the premises due to an unsafe manner or if you are disqualified for any reason.
11. NO holding onto the fenders while you are pulling this is a automatic disqualification.
12. Everyone must have a working tether switch on the back of their tractors.
13. Anyone under 12 must have a parent walk along the side of the track while they are pulling.
14. All tractors must have wheelie bars and a hitch.
15. Must have hood and fenders. ALL tractors must have a piece of metal going from the fenders to the foot rest to make one complete piece of metal at least 6” wide.
16. All weights must be secured, any lose of weights will result in a disqualification.
17. Any one under 5 years old pulling must have handle throttles on them and be able to steer the tractor unassisted by themselves.(Adults can coach from the side.)
18. Hitch can not interfere with the chain on the transfer.
19. There will not be any horse playing around on or near the scales, if there is any horse playing you will be warned 1 time and than after that you will not be allowed to pull and there will not be any refunds given.
20. You will be responsible for having your tractor up to the line for you class, failure to do so will result in dropping you from the class.
21. There is a 0ZERO Tolerance for any use of alcohol before the pulls. If you are drinking you will not be allowed to pull and if you are found out to have drove and was drinking you will forfeit all winnings and there will not be a refund of your money.
Kids Class Rules
1. All kids must be between the age of 3 years old and 12 years old. If you turn 13 half way there the year you can finish out the season before moving up a class next year.
2. Any child that is under the age of 5 years old must have a hand throttle on the tractor and a kill switch on the back of the tractor. They must be able to hold on and steer the tractor by themselves also. There will not be any adult steering the tractor for them. No adult will be able to touch the tractor once it has started down the track unless they are stopping the tractor.
3. All kids must have a helmet on.
4. Must have at least one adult on the side lines following beside them.
5. All kids 5 and older must be able to reach the gas pedal if they plan on using a gas pedal and not a throttle cable.
6. All the tractors can not run no more than 4000 rpms and nothing bigger than a 16 hp motor.
7. Tires are not to exceed 26x12x12 and no more than bar tires.
8. No more than 1 person can receive points and distance for that tractor, but can have up to 2 pullers on one tractor. Winner receiving points will be determined at the time of sign up.
9. Drivers that have registered for the points class must be at the time of the pull but doesn’t have to pull the tractor and can have someone else pull for them as long as they are at the pull for that day.
10. Only pump fuel and racing fuel will be allow. With the exception of the E-85 CANNOT be used in any tractor. Fuel will be tested if there is any questions. No alcohol in any stock classes.
11. All drivers will have their tractors to the staging area and in line before the next class starts.
12. There is a three minute time to get up to the line and hook up or you drop to the back of the line and have one other chance to hook up.
13. NO HORSEPLAYING around or climbing on other tractors without the owners permission.
Stock Rules
1. Stock tractors must have stock wheelbase and chassis all originating from a garden tractor.
2. Governor override is NOT allowed. 4000 Rpm maximum. This will be checked if there is any questions. There will NOT be any leeway on this.
3. Engine must be stock appearing to the eye..
4. Pump gas, racing fuel up to C-12 and diesel fuel only. No additives, alcohol, nitrous, nitro methane, or E-85 will be allow. This will be checked if there is any questions. If found to be using any fuel that you are not suppose to be using then you will be disqualified and there will be not refund.
5. Any puller that is under the age of 5 years old must have a handle throttle and tether on the back of the tractor. They must be able to steer the tractor themselves unassisted. They must have at least one parent or adult beside them following down the side of the track. They will not be able to assist in anything except for pushing the throttle up and releasing the clutch. If any adult is in contact with the tractor as it is going down the track then they will be disqualified, unless they are stopping the tractor. Example is pushing the hood down to keep the tractor down or turning the steering wheel to prevent it from going out of bounds.
6. All tractors must be registered 30 minutes before the pull and no last minute registration when you have been at the pull for more than 30 minutes. We would like to get things started on time and when pullers wait until the last minute that make my (Mary’s) job really hard. With the exception of coming in late to a puller than can register for a class as long as that class has not completed the first set of pulls.
7. Rubber tires only. No studs, chains, or duals will be allowed.
8. Rear tires cannot exceed 26x12x12 except in the stock
9. No Pit Bull, LawnTech, or Cepek allowed in the stock classes. These are BAR TIRES ONLY.
10. All tractors must have wheelie bars, which must be at least 6” off the ground and hitch on them. The hitch must be no higher than 13 inches from ground level to the top of the hitch. No bigger than 1 ½ opening and have nothing interfering with the chain. No cradling of the chain.
11. Rear weights must be no higher than 24 inches from the center of the rear axle to the top of the weights. All weights must be secure and not interfere with the chain. If you loose any weights after the safety zone and before the flagman stops you it will be a disqualification and no refund.
12. All tractors must be factory built no homemade frames in the stock class. Stock means STOCK.
13. Stock throttle or gas pedal are allowed.
14. Must have working brakes or a kill switch. There must be a way to stop the tractor
15. No four wheel drives allowed.
16. Fee cost is $15.00 for nonmembers and $10.00 for members per class. This gets you 2 hooks for one class. N o chains allowed.
17. All pullers must obey the flagman, announcer, and all other officials on the track at all times or they will be disqualified and there will not be any refund of money.
18. There is a ZERO tolerance for alcohol and no one drinking will be allowed to pull a tractor and if found to be drinking and then pulling you will loose all winnings for that day and there will not be a refund of any kind.
19. Only 1 place and 1 set of points and distance per tractor but up to 2 people can pull in the same class. Winner needs to be determined at the time of sign in as to who will be taking the winning if there are any.
Stock Altered, Modified and Diesel Rules
1. Tractors must have only one motor, single cylinders, flathead twin and v- twins. With the exception of the modified class which anything can go with in the limitation of our sled.
2. Rear tires cannot exceed 26x 12x12. Cut tires are allowed. Cepek, Pitbull, and Lawn tech are all allowed in these classes.
3. Must have a safety switch on the back in the modified class, and must wear a helmet no matter what age. No one under the age of 16 can enter into the modified class with out prior permission from either Kenny or Mary.
4. There are 2 weight classes for the Stock Altered: 1000# and 1200#.
5. There are 1 weight classes for the Modified: 1300#.
6. Tractor that run at anything over 4000 rpm will be placed in the Stock Altered.
7. MUST HAVE a scatter shield over the flywheel. 1/8” steel or 3/16” aluminum.
8. Only 2 people per tractor, but only one of the drivers will receive the winnings and that will be determined at the time of sign in. If one driver is in the points and the other is not then that will be the person that will receive the winnings.
9. No bouncing in your seat, or lifting your self off the seat. If you do this then it will be a disqualification and you will get no refund.
10. All complaints need to be made before the beginning of the next class except with modified and then that needs to be made as soon as possible.
11. There is a ZERO tolerance for drinking. Any one caught drinking and pulling a tractor will loose all winnings for that day and if caught a second time will be removed from the points and distance if entered and also asked to leave.
12. All decisions from the flagman, announcer or any other track official are final.
13. All weights must be secured and not interfere with the chain. NO sliding weights either.
14. NO chains, studs or dual tires are allowed.
15. No holding on of the fender while you are pulling this will result in a disqualification.
